My Dad the Pilot

My Dad loves to fly.  He would sit near the airpot when he was little and watch the planes take off and fly right above his head.  Thats when his dream of being a pilot began.  After a 25 yr career in the air force and flying planes such as the U2, he lives his dream still in his part ownership of a cessna.

You know how you can pay 1 million dollars to fly over national parks for a scenic trip?  Well we got that same trip from the Colonel father for FREE.

 It all started at 5:30am.  That came early!  We drove out to the new St. G airport and left our babe in the care of sisters and Mom...

 We saw a beautiful sunset from the air

 Iwas co-pilot and took the controls a few times.  I didn't like to hold on for long...

 Looking at Zion National Park from about 9000 ft.  Angel's landing is all we got pictures of before the camera died.  It was all so incredible.

So glad Dad's dream continues to be fulfilled today.
