that secret blog.
When I got home from my mission in 2008, I lived with Bethany. We had lived together in a previous year in the infamous Sugar Shack with 3 other lovely ladies. Whilst this round 2 of being roommates, B came up with a great idea to have a secret blog for our generation of Sugar Shackers. This blog really actually turned into a place to update each other about our secret loves, and funny things we did that we would never write on any blog people we don't know could see. Or people we did know, for that matter! Haha.
Well earlier this week I had the itch to go back and read that blog (we have since slacked big time)...and oh, what a treat it was. There is a particular post that I am dying laughing about, but it still stands as an inappropriate story for public eyes :) BUT I would like to share with you this treat. Oh the days past...

You should hear P's side of the story about our first kiss...he had done laundry at my house that day like I say above, and when he returned to the door I remember thinking, "where is his laundry?" Perris' story is that he left my apt and got to the end of the row, decided he could do it! and sat that laundry basket down with resolution to march back and ask for the desire of his heart. That image in my mind always brings giggles.
Such fun times! Thanks to the secret blog for preserving these awesome memories (and text messages!).

hahahaha I think I am so funny for this picture!!!
Okay first off, i LOVE THE revamp of our blog. Looks great! Happy, cheery red to celebrate the joy of christmas!
Alright, I'll cut to the chase. This girl got kissed last night!! I really wanted him to do it last night, but after we watched a movie we got him out the door... so i walked away thinking "dang it. Maybe tomorrow..." And I went to the bathroom to proceed to wash my face, and naturally, before washing my face i pick a few piimples (i have really got to stop this bad habit. But sometimes I see bethany's mirror as I look in my mirror and she's doing it too...we encourage each other hahaa) and I hear a knock at the door (this is like maybe 1 minute after he left). I was thinking "OH my gosh, he came back! My face is red!!!!! Stupid pimples." So I walk to the door and in an effort to keep the light out of my face from outside I stand to the side..
He says, "I wanted to know if I could have a goodnight kiss."
Helloooooo WHO ASKS THAT? I obviously said yes and got really embarrassed, but it was FUNNY because I was like "these are the moments I am most awkward" and we laughed, but hey we laughed and we kissed so whoooooooo flipping cares! It was very sweet.
Then I get this text,
"I am not even home and I can't stop smiling! You are too cute! Ali really you are one of a kind thanks for letting me be with you tonight."
yeah, I know. Wait, read THIS:
"What I really want to do is return this basket [he borrowed my laundry basket, dried some clothes here] to you right now and try my luck in a second round! Good night I really got lucky with you hopefully i will dream with you too!"
I could die!! Man oh man. And this is my saga of Perris Kusilek. (I know, difficult name! haha) Things are great...as you can guess...
DANG, juicy, huh? I forgot what a sweet talker Perris was. I showed him all of these things and reminded him how romantical he was, and he should still do that. He says it's harder because he's actually with me each night, and not saying goodbye thinking about how awesome I am and our night was :) We had a very funny conversation about this.
