L'amour

Rewind back to 2005.  I was living in the great Sugar Shack on the 2N with some lovely ladies.
It was summertime, and dear sister Jami was getting married.  As I had never been pedicure pampered at 20 years of age, I decided the wedding would be an appropriate time to try it out.
I know Bethany was with me, was Cindy the other?  There were 3 of us, and we looked up nail places.  Our minds set on the L'amour Nail Salon in Provo Towne Centre.  I called the number to inquire:

ringing...ringing...
L'amour worker:  La-moul nail how I can help yoo?
Ali: Yes, I just wondered if I need to make an appointment...
worker:  (said very fast) Oh, no!  No pointment nessary, walk in vailable.
Ali: OK!

I just loved how our of asian-decent-friends french named their salon!  And just have to say that I am not disrespecting them or poking fun, I really like them.  And any other pedicure I have had done do not live up to these friends' abilities.  Seriously, they are very skilled.

Well, I often talk about L'amour Nail.  And I often recite this favorite story to friends.  So, last night we receive a text message from dear friend Stephan, that says, "This is for Ali."  We opened the picture and I had a very hearty and loud laugh.  Oh so fun.  I am so glad they have made it very easy to understand that walk ins are available.
I think I need to go back very soon!  Thanks for the great laugh, Stephan and Lynette!
