activity.
We like any sort of activity. Especially with visitors.
Engaged Lauren and Dan from our Provo ward came down this weekend.
We visited the Brigham Young summer home. They were short people, I guess!
Very fascinating the lengths they would go to in those days to have the type of look they wanted in their home. They would paint the pine wood around the house to appear like oak, birds eye maple, mahogany, and even painted wood in the fireplace to appear like marble! Lots of work, I say.
Wade was unimpressed and slept throughout :)
Dan is a rock climber, so he took us out to the red rocks to climb! It was Perris' first time, but he did well!
His forearms are quite sore today--he got to a good height on the first climb, which was ridiculous. There were rock points jutting out so you had to climb vertical OVER a big hump. Ali does not have the ability to do that.
Husband and wife team
My turn going up--but you shall not see me touching the rock wall. That's because every time I tried I couldn't hold on and just swung out across the ground. Fun swing!
Swinging...not climbing
And again. Suspended in the air!
Little Wade did pretty well. We had a great shady spot for him and after I finished and L&D got set up, he and I had a little conversation and he was thrilled about it.
The couple to be married in October
Best napping spot yet, right Wade??
We found a better route--easier--so we moved over. Perris decided to lose the shirt, and those super tolky sunglasses add to his image perfectly.
Per did great and made it all the way up.
Here I go...that first hump was a doosey. Once past that I did just fine. Got too tired to make it to the top though, came down about 3/4 of way up.
Hi, I woke up from my nap.
New angles I have not seen myself from since birthing a child. Lovely :)
It was a fun time!

Haha you are so funny. Looks like so much fun!
