Last belly shot??
Perris is really cute.We are having a baby. I just repeat that to myself over and over sometimes. This is really going to happen soon. I will no longer be pregnant. There will be a baby with us 24/7. His name will be Wade. etc etc...do you experience shock at all after birth?? :)
My nails are painted (i know you guys. but for some time I have always imagined my nails painted a beautiful bright red in my hospital pictures. not really important, but yet I am determined to have them nice for birth. ha!), my feets are swollen, my bags are packed, and my mind chants "I can do this, I can do this" over and over when I think about it.
Let's just get on with it and see what all this is about!

In the meantime I'm finishing out this week of work, learning how to make more books, and cleaning and packing. P is playing basketball and working and saying cute things about having a baby. (Example 1: he texts me today saying he has a headache again. I ask "are you stressed?" and he says "NO, I am just excited for Wade!") And we have had some lovely sunshiney days! Keep it up, weather. We are talking 70s all through the weekend! Perfect for welcoming a baby into the world.
I wish I could come give you a pedicure! So exciting!!

Good for you getting those nails done! Andrew was waiting in the car to go to the hospital while I put a coat of nail polish on my toes... while my contractions were 3 minutes apart. I hadn't done it ahead of time and I wouldn't go without. Red nail polish really is important :) I'm planning a pedicure before this baby! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI don't think you're in shock, but I remember it being very surreal and my belly feeling empty for a few days. I kept poking at it and thinking how weird there were no little feet to kick back :)
