He is Risen!

What a wonderful day. After we sang "He is Risen" in church today, I wanted to start again and sing it one more time! I felt the joy and excitement of what Jesus Christ has done for us, and the great triumph He had over death, that it may "sting" no more.

I felt it again as I read Mosiah 16:

7And if Christ had not risen from the dead, or have broken the bands of death that the grave should have no victory, and that death should have no ^asting, there could have been no resurrection.

8But there is a ^aresurrection, therefore the grave hath no victory, and the sting of ^bdeath is swallowed up in Christ.

The grave hath no victory! What a blessing. Perris and I share our deep love and gratitude to Jesus Christ with you this day. For we know that He is risen, and lives today...and how grateful we are that because He did that, we too may have the same great opportunity to live again after this life.
