baby time.

Ready for baby update times 1 million? Ok.
I had two wonderful baby showers. Jami, Lynette, Lyndsey, and Taylor put on the first one, and 'twas loverly! (The other was at my Grandma's in Kaysville. Wonderful time!)
Jami made homemade foccacia bread for the turkey avocado sandwiches (SOOOO yummers!), and cute decorated cupcakes, and lots of good stuff. We had it at my house and we had a full house! Lots of love.
Perris eating his portion with the ladies at his side before he left for the evening.
Jami made this banner honoring little Wadester.
Setting up food, Lynette had some lovely contributions as well!
Oooh I love these ladies...Kim and Maren, my dear missionary friends.
I love this little outfit. What a handsome boy he will make!
Lynette and Alice
Andrea, Emily, and Alicia...
Marissa and her new baber, Lisa and Regan E.
Jillus came!! Yahoo. With her cute little girl whose back was turned to us. And Amy and her sweet Cannon--he is super cute.
Talk about major belly shot...this was at 35 weeks
Ok please pay close attention to Addison right here with a napkin on her head. She comes waltzing into the room with Dallin in tow...saying "Dallin, let's get married...Come on..." and a very distraught Dallin saying "NOOOOO!! I'm not dressed for a wedding..."
Hilarious. Note Taylor's giggles as she watches on as well...Addie persisted over and over, without concern for Dallin's protests.
Someone gave me pacifiers and I had to share the story with the ladies. Earlier that week, I had noticed a pink pacifier on our coffee table. I was puzzled, as no niece that frequents my house uses those...and no babies had been around for a while. I thought of Alice's baby and maybe it got hidden in a couch while they were visiting before. Anyway, I had no idea. So I left it there for a day or so and started to verbalize my puzzled-ness when Perris was around. Perris immediately says, "Oh, no I brought that home. I found it. We can just boil it and it'll be great." Pure disbelief crossed my face as the questions of "found it???!!" "PINK???!!" and then I just got disgusted. Hahaha oh it was so so hilarious, but I insisted that although that was very thoughtful, our son will not be using a used, pink pacifier. Always thinking of how to be frugal, that's my man!!
I have since kinda gotten OFF the making-things baby bandwagon...but so far I made this quilt that I love, started another blanket, painted the dresser and crib, and made a wall hanging.
We have all our clothes washed, hospital bag prepped, and we're just waiting for this woot to come. My replacement starts next week, so I'll still be working but not in charge! HALLELUJAH. This past week was the hardest so far--just feeling exhausted. I shall make it!
Thanks to everyone who has given so much to help us prepare ourselves for this new grand adventure. Really, we are quite grateful.

I'm 38 weeks and trying not to count. ;) I'll put up a belly picture later.
GOOD NEWS--for the first time I gained NO weight. Gees it took until 38 weeks to stop gaining weight. I was thrilled. Also found out I'm group b strep positive...not a big deal but bummer I have to be at the hospital earlier than I wanted to be!
