Winter Camping
I went winter camping with Stephan last weekend. It was awesome, a little cold, but awesome. I really needed some outdoor time away from computers. We made and slept in a snow cave.
There was also a snow storm at the same time, it snowed a foot over night. This was what the morning looked like.
Inside the sweetest thing ever built.
The snow on the ground was already four feet deep.
Those that stayed in tents ended up in the truck.
Tin foil dinner was delicious, yes a you can have a fire in the snow.
We camped by the Strawberry Reservoir.

ReplyDeleteThat's so fun you were up by strawberry, my hubby keeps wanting to take me up there cause my in-laws have a small cabin. Wasn't sure what to expect, but your pictures show a nice, quiet place!
COOLEST. THING. EVER. I remember trying to make tunnels in snow when we were in VA. They don't hold a candle against your sweet igloo. My kids are drooling with envy :)
