tuna sandwich, sledding & tummy

an excited relief went through me when my sister announced that I in fact can eat tuna. once a week. I can handle that. I love me a tuna fish-sweet pickle-lettuce-tomato sandwich, and was honestly disappointed when i realized (mistakenly) as a child-carrier i shouldn't eat it. Then the enlightenment happened per jami. thank you. so that's what i ate when i got home from church today. serious hunger is kicking in these days.

thanksgiving was good. i love thanksgiving. (i love Christmas time even more.) we enjoyed a wonderful meal and some good times in logan, utah. tons of snow and freezing cold weather welcomed us into the holiday season.
the after-dinner beautiful sunset
Gma, Gpa, Gma's twin Vada & the rest of us

it also called for some sledding. last winter we never did it--i don't know why. we used some garbage sacks and some cautious aiming to enjoy a successful and safe sledding hour.
the before shot. I am wearing gpa's old coat. so sweet.
in a partner race down the hill, Lynds and I smoked Per and Kate. Our method: poking legs through the corners of the trash bags in a diaper-like fashion. We whizzed down!
happy to see the bibs I got him for Christmas last year in good use!

Katie whizzing past my standing spot backwards...she always managed some unique way to go down the hill. we expect nothing less for the queen of originality.

see? she lost her trash bag and continued sliding down on her bum.
here is the side-relaxation pose all the way down the hill. haha she was so funny.

my tummer is growing. i guess my uterus tilts back, so I won't be a basketball-belly woman. 17 weeks pregnant. 2 weeks from tomorrow we find out the gender of this little woot! yeah. remember i'm having a baby? me too. still hard to believe.

my cheesy smile
