sqozen face

Hi there friends. What a lovely Sunday it has been. It's a nice night and Perris and I are sitting inside with the screen door open, enjoying the laugh of the neighbor woman on her front lawn. It's like no other laugh I've heard and it's awesome.
Our labor day adventures included a beautiful 1-night camping trip to our favorite spot at Squaw Peak. It is seriously just gorgeous! And the fall weather creeping in is the best. I love the fall. Here's our camp. We all cuddled up in our tent for a cold night.
Isn't that beautiful? What a sunset.
The men folk preparing the wood/fire.
Cute Lynds. Love having her 2 blocks away.
While I was off looking for fire wood I got a bit distracted and found pretty flowers. Oops.
The women folk.
Scroll back up to the picture with our tent and the hill in the distance. We climbed that to try and catch the sunset. We missed it by a few minutes (it's a straight-up climb!), but it's still a beautiful view. Perris stayed back to watch the fire.
Nothin' like pizza pudgie pies on a cold camping night! The Graffs were new to this brilliance and converted right away.
Lynette took a bunch of pictures of me like this...it was quite humorous to her, the look on my face. The wool socks in my sandals were a little silly, but I was cold.
I danced like a boy in lederhausen because I really resembled one. It was sweet.
This is like #1 awful picture of ali. Look at my sweet, cute little husband next to me, then shift your eyes to my squozen (adjective for "squeeze") face with double jackets on and head lamp to boot. Lynette made me promise not to delete it. Hahaha oh at least he loves me for my insides, too. :)

  4. Oh my goodness, you ALL make me laugh so hard!!!!

First of all, Ali, Ryan read your title and said, "Squozen faces? That doesn't even make sense. Who wrote that?" I said, "Who do ya think? Ali!" and he said, "Oh, I see." like it was normal! :)

Secondly, your face just looks like Ali to me! So I don't know what you're complaining about! :) I know I've seen pictures of little Ali that look very similar.

Thirdly, Lynette, you were also the closest to the camera, so the glare is gonna get to your fair skinned face first! Give yourself some credit dear! :)

Love you guys! Miss you all! Hope to see you soon!
