What else do you do on labor day?
Well, although it's definitely not all we did, we got on a cleaning kick and fixed up our yard. Landlord=uninterested in the maintenance of home appearance. AP Kusilek=very interested in our current homestead's appearance.

Notice the dead grass EVERYWHERE. Not taken care of. Notice the dead stuff everywhere within bushes...
Notice the beautifully cleaned yard and bush area. MMmm satisfaction. 3 hours, one entire trash bin FULL of excess foliage from the yard.
And due to a tip from N. Kirtley, we painted our house number on a rock.
Now P and I can hardly help but stop and admire as we walk in and out of the house...
you've gotta make your home a heaven, right!?

ReplyDeleteAL, you're house is so CUTE. Oh my. I love those old homes...someday I'm going to live in an old farm house with LOTS of character, rustic charm and an absolute WARMNESS within it. That's my dream anyway :) Love you lots and love doing yard work...it is one of my fondest memories as a child. Weird, I know, Andy thinks so too.
