porch goodness

i love porches. i think it may have come from sitting on the porch in virginia growing up and watching the thunderstorms. love it. so, of course, we were so excited when we moved into a place with a porch. last night was our first official porch sitting. it was a cool night with lightening lighting the sky in the distance. (i originally wrote "thunder lighting the sky..." that'd be interesting wouldn't it?) we did what you can do best on a porch-chat. and a lovely chat it was. here's to more porch sitting in the future!
