grapes and sweet pickles
i think i've had so many thoughts and so many events lately that my brain can't comprehend it quick enough to write about it (and maybe a tad bit of stress).
thus the lack of blogging.
but the good thing is that i used to read blogs and want to blog all the time. So i set myself a limit-wednesdays, and sat/sun for blogging and reading blogs. Great idea, it worked.
as of late:
california-very successful
mothers day suprise in Logan-very successful
talking to maddy on mothers day-half successful
work-sometimes i want to quit spur of the moment, but i'm trying to be cheerful
this next week i have the annual river trip in green river with the have; P is coming down friday night. we got stuck last year because of torrential rain and a too-muddy-road. Crossing my fingers that it won't happen again this year; P is crossing his that it will.
life is good. we are very blessed people and are grateful for the Lord's guidance and love in our life. We have been going to baseball games, more bonfires, planning camping trips, attending the temple, going to the farmers market-okay just once so far, but it will continue (see below), hiking the Y and such. We love summertime!
Here I am with My mother and my Mother's Mother. If her mother was there, you'd see my name sake- Alice.
We love the grape game
Jamian at the Farmer's Market where she sells her homemade goods. People. If you are reading this-you should go and buy her stuff. It's sweet. Makes great gifts, too.
After a year of bare kitchen floor, I finally found some rugs. Kusilek's kitchen is now complete.
Okay here I am devouring something delicious. Sweet Pickles school bus, yes? Remember? I have some great and vague memories of this thing. But one thing I'll never forget are the peanut butter balls we'd always make. Recently I've been craving them, and last night I finally made them. They are the best, seriously. It takes 2 minutes to make and they are delish! To remind you all, here's the recipe I found:
1 cup oats
1 cup powdered milk
1 cup honey
1 cup peanut butter
roll into balls and chill in refrigerator.
Talk about an easy and yummy snack.
Now, go. Make them. Love them.

Oh my WORD! We fought over that pickle bus thing and loved it. I TOTALLY forgot about the peanut butter balls. Sunday afternoon treat....here we come!
