Mr X meets Mr Turkey.

I am up way too late. This is due to the fact that my hubber is not here, and I've been lost on the computer. I need him to keep me in line when I do this. He's off in Wisconsin to be with family, a cousin passed away this week. We are really glad he was able to go and be with them. And note: this is our FIRST time EVER away from each other! Since marriage, of course. So here I am alone in our bed. I haven't slept alone in 9 months minus 1 day! Crazy!
Tonight I went to J-squared's house to celebrate the little niecer's 1st birthday. She and her sister are very entertaining. In fact almost as entertaining as that one time when Cami and Shane were in town and we played Mr X. A most interesting game, where I was granted the privilege to be Mr. X himself. Instead of wearing the baseball hat provided with the game (i think it was missing from the box), James lovingly provided a few alternatives. Among the garden visor and trucker's hats I saw this beaut:
the turkey hat.
and just at first glance don't we all wish we, too, could have one of our own?
see the delight in P's face eyein' that baby. He was so jealous...

that game was fun. for me, anyway ;)

get ready for some seriously old pictures and a trip down memory lane.
