heartily

so i've fallen a bit behind documenting our life, thus the 3 updates in one day. this is important business!

today wasn't the best day of my life. i have been so emotional for at least....3, maybe 4 days. like i cry about a lot of things, and i'm really not normally like that. so after another emotional day--actually, first 1/2 of the day, i felt exhausted. now, one who works in a place like i work doesn't always want to go to that place on a day where they are feeling such as i... thus was my feeling today.

but you know what? heavenly father loves me and sends me tender mercies. it was like the best day. my group went well, and it was fun, and girls did things they have never done before in the most positive way, and it was just refreshing and a "i can do this!" and i felt connected to girls i have never connected to before, and i just said a few prayers of gratitude.

it's just that little pat on the back and encouraging push forward saying "go ahead! don't worry, I'll take care of you."

i am so grateful.

Colossians 3:23-24

And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

why shouldn't we do everything "heartily"?
