potatoes of death
We have this small storage closet underneath our stairs which i affectionately call the "short door". Not long ago I opened it and screamed, for long horns were growing from a paper bag. I knew immediately what they were, but I have been seen yelping a yelp every time I open that door with the potatoes of death sticking out. See for yourself!
Don't worry. We threw them out today, darn it! I'm sorry my dear potatoes...we wanted to use you, we just took too long to do it!
Valentine's Day II for the Kusilek family was great. Enjoyed together by PF Changs and a movie called New In Town. It's set in Minnesota and we could not stop laughing...We love the mid-west. Hilarious.
Sunday morning I bounced down the stairs before church to find these beauties:
I hinted for them, but he picked the exact ones I would have! They are beautiful. It tells me to water them once a week with 3 ice cubes. I guess I'm orchid ignorant :) Never heard of that.
Today we did some awesome organizing and cleaning. I love that feeling. I found this little friend in my craft box. WOW, so old. What a keepsake. A keepsake I decided to take a picture of and throw away ;) (And don't we have some seriously sexy carpet??)
Friends. If you have never tried swim aerobics, now is the time. Lynette and I decided to try it last week, and I loved it. I actually kept laughing throughout the hour class. I wasn't laughing at anyone, I didn't think I looked silly....I just kept laughing. I think it was a joy laugh. For some reason, I found it so funny! Maybe I was just in a silly mood. But you better believe I'm going back for more. It is a serious workout. I really think the Momma would love this! Do it! Everyone!
