Yeah, that's how it is.
Obviously, we make an almost perfect couple.
Mission Reunion last night! ¡Y que fabulosa que fue! Below is Hna Melanie Tracy (now Harris), remember her? The tall california blonde is to be a mother in May! Swweeet goodness! Right here she was telling me something that reminded her of me and I thought it was so funny that she remembered that. She remembered I had good bras and wanted to know where to find them!! HAH! Why yes, I do. Thank you.
Three years ago this december that we met at the bus station in Caleta Olivia, Argentina! And three years ago October 18th that I became a real life missionary. I can't believe that. Wonderful memories!

Last Sunday night we started to go on a walk but decided we should drive up the canyon to see the fall leaves. So we went up to Sundance but it was already getting dark. It was still beautiful. I remember coming to Utah for the first time and thinking "they're not that great" when people would rave about the changing colors on the leaves. Coming from Virginia falls, completely breathtaking colors everywhere you look....the Utah mountain trees weren't that impressive. But since it's been so long since I've seen that, this has really become more beautiful to me! I love fall. It is definately my favorite season.
It's almost Maddy's turn to show up at a random "terminal" (pronounced tare-me-nall) in Argentina to meet her first real companion in another country to preach the gospel. I CAN'T WAIT to read those emails every week. We are making good memories as we wait to part for at least 18 months. Hopefully we'll see her in Argentina when she's done!

I didn't know you had a blog! Where have I been? I'm so glad I can see what you're up to! By the way- love the hair. You're always so cute. P.S. Loved your comment about the state fair. I ALWAYS sing the song but firmly refuse to buy the food there... usually. I like to see the pigs even though they stink so bad I make myself sick. Unfortunately, I didn't get to go this year... my belly was still a little too swollen :) Glad to see you're doing well- Love ya!
ReplyDeleteI see a slight resemblance, but honestly I think it's the hair, that's how I cut my hair a lot of the time and pin it back almost exactly like that. But I will take that as a compliment 'cause you look mighty fine girl!
