-be ye separate-

uggghhhhh. That is how I have felt for the past hour. Ew, I don't even like it!! Working with teenage girls can sure be a frustration sometimes. I am trying not to take it personally, but they are so inconsiderate sometimes... But that is why I have to help teach them. But goodness, I was fed up with it today. I came straight home! But then my boss called and I told him my frustrations. I really like the people I work with, thank you for your sanity.

I read a chapter in Alma last night with a friend, Alma 5. Lots of things stuck out to me, but most of all I loved where in verse 57 it says,

"all you that are desirous to follow the voice of the good shepherd, come ye out from the wicked, and be ye separate, and touch not their unclean things..."

(I am now trying not to be frustrated that i can't get this to go back to the side of a normal paragraph)

Isn't that beautiful?? "be ye separate". We have to step away from those things that lead us further away from the Savior. We aren't better than anyone, but we can be separate from the filth. That inspired me to be better and decide what I need to separate myself from. A good thing to ponder.

Time for another fun wedding picture (from snippet & ink):

Check out the bottom picture of the vases with flowers---that is my vision for the vases idea I had. Lined up on the fireplace, or whatever. A lovely neighbor of my parents has offered to have the reception at their home. P and I went over yesterday and checked it out. Talk about a lovely home--open and spacious and classy! We are excited.

tell me what you think!

  1. Where is your fiance from in Wisconsin? Are you having a reception here?
